One of my happiest memories of Laura was when Linda came to pick me up to go for a drive in her campervan. We decided to go to Northbrook to pick Laura up from college and because the van couldn't get under the barrier of the student car park we had to park in the staff park in one of the lecturer's spaces. Linda then started to brew a cup of tea for us when Laura appeared surrounded by friends. Most teenagers would probably have got embarrassed by the sight of their Mum and friend making tea in the staff car park! Laura? Nope, she just smiled broadly, waved bye to her friends and said 'Ooh lovely, a cup of tea!'
