Despite it being 3 years since we said goodbye, the sense of loss remains as strong as ever for those that love you. There are daily reminders of our loss but none so much as your birthday. We were with granddad this year, we took some gifts to your bench, remembered you over lunch at the airport and probably gave you and nan a laugh as we tried to send some bubbles out to sea, only to have them blow back in our faces by the wind, hopefully we managed to get a few your way.
Mum was in Christchurch visiting the places that remain special between you both, we couldn't believe it when she came across the exact same bridesmaids dress that you wore at her wedding, these little 'signs' help us feel connected to you.
Oliver was working at Glastonbury but you are never far from his thoughts and he remembered your birthday in his own special way.
Vicky, Brooke, Tammy, Carla, Allegra & Maria once again shared time and precious memories whilst raising a glass for your birthday and sending their love your way. Brooke and her family have also visited Mudeford Quay and shared some special time in memory of you.
