Another special day thats holds sadness, good memories and happy thoughts all at the same time. We will never accept your not being here Laura but gradually we are all finding our individual ways of spending this day with you.

Mum along with  Darren and his parents were on a cruise, it included Russia amongst other countries, your mum always feels extra close to you around 'water' she acknowleged your birthday on facebook and made a comment that made me think that she feels as though you continue to travel the seas together. Oliver also wished you a happy birthday on facebook and it was great to see the support he continues to receive. I know he misses you so much and it is still difficult for him to express his grief, he has a guitar now and maybe one day he will be able to dedicate a song to you.

I made up your shoebox for Monkey World and had a thoughtful trip to the post office and shops to buy you a bunch of flowers, I ended up with Sweet Williams, sweety being your nickname and the beautiful pink 'smiling' flowers reminding of you. I sent some sweets for the staff at Monkey World this year and received a lovely email thanking us for our support.

Your very special friends and family , Tammy, Brook, Vicky, Allegra and Maria joined up once again to share some special time on the beach in remembrance of the love and friendship you all shared. The balloons soared high, the sunset was beautiful and the memories were happy ones.
